I was reviewing my results over the last couple of months last weekend, and I noticed something that I wanted to bring to your attention. There is an important lesson here for anyone trying to make money online.
It started by going back to the traffic sites that I have recommended and figuring out which ones made the highest sales and profits for me. It is always a good idea to look at what has worked well for you in the past so you can identify what you should be doing more of in the future.
I was trying to determine why some sites I promoted made a good amount of sales and others did not. I looked at how many sales I made at each of the sites and most importantly WHO I made the sales to.
This is where the real "aha moment" happened.
It was the same names of buyers at all the sites. Those who bought upgrades when I recommended the HerculistPlus were the same people as who purchased the upgrades and the credits at the Free
Advertising For You.
This is just another proof of the idea which I tell you about all the time. You have to get people to Know, Like and Trust you BEFORE they will buy. Once you get that trust, they will keep buying from you over and over again.
All those names on the list of buyers were people who I recognized as being long time subscribers to my emails. Almost no one who purchased was NOT someone who I knew. No strangers on my buyers list.
If you want to make more sales, then you need to be thinking about the long-term payback of creating relationships with people, not the quick buck you might make by selling a product to a stranger.
