Stories sell.
There is a story in everything, but sometimes you need to dig for it.
This is also where your research and homework pay off. The better you understand the product or program you are trying to get people to buy, the more you will see the stories to tell about it.
It can start with your own story related to the program. Tell about your own experience with the program. Why did you join it? What problems did it solve for you? What results have you seen from the product or program? These are all compelling parts of your story. If it worked for you… it may just work for your prospect too.
You can also talk about the story of the program itself and the people who started it. Why did they create the program? What did they see that was lacking in the other solutions? How quickly did it grow?
Lastly, you can also talk about the stories of other people who have used the program. Testimonials and success stories are very powerful. It your prospect sees that other people like them are getting results, then they are more likely to believe that this could be their solution.
There is a story to be found in everything! You can't get it without putting in some work on using the site and writing some copy. The more effort you put into it, the better story will be, and the better results you'll get using that story to sell.
Last week I told my success story about using Limitless Mailer. If you missed it then here's a brief recap: I sent 336 visitors from Limitless Mailer to my lead capture page and got 14 subscribers! Conversion rates are wonderful and are 24 visitors to get 1 subscriber.
If you are not a member of Limitless Mailer then I recommend that you join it right now.
Here's another brief story for you: I got 12 referrals joining Limitless Mailer after they read that single email with my first story.
Still unsure if stories sell?
