Have you ever noticed that successful people are more confident than the average person?
The important question is whether they are successful because they were confident, or are they confident because they are successful.
Which came first, the confidence or the success?
If you dig deeper into this idea, what you find is that it isn't that simple. Confidence and success feed upon each other in a never-ending loop.
When you feel confident about a new program or project, you are more willing to do the work to make it successful. That success will lead you to being more confident, which helps you to keep working hard and trying new things.
How do you use this to be more successful in the things important to you?
First, you have to realize that whenever you try to do something new, or something outside your comfort zone, you are not going to have a lot of confidence. However, you have to have the courage to do it anyway.
Once you start taking action from the courage, you will start to see results, which will give you confidence and start the upward cycle of confidence and success.
If you wait to feel confident before you start taking action, then you will never start the process and get the cycle started. You have to be willing to take the leap into the unknown.
This applies to all the things you need to do to build your business, like working on building an email list, or starting to write emails to your list. You feel nervous, but you have to start doing it anyway to build up your skills and your confidence.
