If you spend a lot of time online, you discover that there are a lot of people who are fake. They claim to be experts, but they aren't. They pretend to be a certain kind of person, but you can tell that they are not who they appear to be.
Don't be one of "those kind" of people.
One of the most important foundations for being successful today is to make sure that you are authentic. Authenticity is what people are looking for online. Who is real? Who can I trust?
We only make lasting relationship with people who we feel a true connection with and that requires that they be authentic. We can tell when someone is just faking it.
The lesson for you to learn from this is that you need to let your own personality shine in your emails and your communications. Be who you are.
If you want people to see you as an authority in a topic, then don't fake that either. Instead, go out and become an expert. Focus on learning what you want to teach and then guide others. It will take time, but you can learn anything you set your mind to.
When you let people see who you really are and you focus on learning to become the expert they need, then you will attract a group of people to you. These are "your" people. You will also repel those who do not like who you are and what your ideas are. That is fine too, because they are not "your" people.
In the end, you will have a group of true followers who see you as a real expert and will stick with you.
Please reply to this message and tell me what you are an expert at, or what you are trying to become an expert at. I would love to hear your story.
