I always find it disappointing when I see how many people are missing the opportunity for success. They are letting it slip through their fingers.
One of the most important skills for success is to know what opportunities you should not let pass you by. We are barraged with offers to join every business opportunity and magic system that anyone can think of. We get hundreds of emails like this every day. That is NOT what I am talking about.
I encourage everyone to pick a strategy for success and don't be distracted by every promising new idea that comes along. For the last 5 years, I have been focused on a strategy of building a responsive email list of followers who know, like, and trust me. I have not been distracted by the fad programs or systems. I have stuck with the strategy.
Pick a good program and stick with it for at least 6 to 12 months.
Where people miss opportunity is the tools they can use to MAXIMIZE their success inside that program. Take traffic sites, for example.
Many people just keep using the same traffic sites to advertise their program, month after month. They feel like they don't need to try anything new. They keep doing what is NOT getting results.
I recommend that you devote a certain amount of time to trying new ways to promote your program, products, or lead capture pages. Spend 80% of your time doing the things that you already know work. Spend the other 20% of your time trying new sites, ad platforms, and strategies to get more traffic. Leave time for experimenting.
This is why I join all the new safelist and traffic sites that I can. Each new program is another opportunity to find something that could work better than what I am already doing. I won't know unless I try them and track the results.
Following this strategy of splitting my time between what is proven to work and experimenting with new sites is what has helped get me to the point of adding over 100 new signups every week.
