One of the things about making money online that many people find confusing is that there are so many people telling you THEIR way is the RIGHT way to earn an online income. Who should you believe?
The reality is that there are a lot of different ways to earn money online and each person will find their own unique combination of strategies and tactics that work for them. It is developed over time with experience, learning and trying different approaches.
The primary strategy that I use, and talk about in these emails, is that you should build a list of people interested in earning online, and then help guide them to success. You do this by offering lots of educational content and motivation, plus recommending products you actually use in your business.
Over time, the strategy of "Know, Like and Trust" will develop an audience that will take action on your recommendations.
That is one way to make money online. I like it because it is building a long-term value and asset that I can count on. I don't have to start from scratch every month. I am focusing on the marketers who are building businesses over time, not the "get rich quick" crowd.
There is another way, that some people recommend, and that is the strategy chosen by many beginners online. That is a strategy of selling the latest new products to people who are looking for a short-term reward. You can find lots of "hot" products on platforms like JVZoo and Clickbank that are doing well right now.
Those using this strategy, email their lists or send traffic from safelists and other sources, to the sales pages of these products, hoping to make a sale. They are not focused on building a relationship with their prospects, but just making a transaction.
Both ways do have the ability to make money, if you get good at how to make it work.
For the product promotion strategy, you are targeting the buyers who are more short-term and likely to impulse buy a product based on the sales page. These are typically not repeat buyers.
The list building strategy focuses more on the long-term buyers. You build a relationship with them and help them over time, leading to many repeat purchases.
