In today's modern marketplace, attention is our new currency.
What do I mean by that?
It is simple. Those people with the most attention will generally be the most successful.
The reason for this is that getting attention today is very hard. Keeping attention is even harder. There are so many different things that vying for people's attention. We have hundreds of television channels, millions of websites, and people are getting hundreds of emails each day. In addition to that, you have social media apps on everyone's phones that they carry around with them
constantly.
People are overwhelmed with people and companies trying to get their attention. If you can cut through all the noise and get someone to read your email, like your content, or read your sales page, then you have already accomplished half the battle.
That is why I am constantly focusing my message to you on two things.
The first is how to get more responsive visitors to come to the pages you promote. Until someone visits your website, you have no chance of getting their attention. A visitor on your site or signup is a chance to get them to read your message and take action.
The second thing that I talk about is building your email list. A personal email list in your business is a filtered list of people who you have gotten the attention of in the past and that are much more likely to pay attention to you in the future. Once they are on your list, they are the easiest source of attention that you can have. It is much easier to get a subscriber to pay attention to
you than it is to get a stranger to pay attention to you.
What are you doing to get and keep the attention of the ideal prospects in your business?
