Many people believe, especially in the safelist world, that the way to make more money is to spend the least amount possible on advertising and traffic. That couldn't be further from the truth.
The person who wins in any market is not the person who has the lowest cost per lead. The person who wins in every market is the person who can pay the most for every lead, because they have the best system to turn that lead into profit.
Let me explain.
Each different advertising source comes at a price. At some traffic sources, it might cost you $1.50 to get one good lead. At other traffic sources it might cost $5 per lead. If you are only shooting for the lowest cost per lead, then you would want to buy as much traffic as you can from the cheaper traffic source. You think that lowering the cost per lead is the path to
success.
However, the most important figure is not the cost per lead. It is the earnings per lead. If you can earn more from every lead, then you can still make money, even if you pay more for traffic.
In other words, how well your marketing funnel turns leads into sales is more important than just getting cheap leads.
If you were earning $10 per lead, then you can buy traffic from any source that costs up to $10 per lead and still make money. If you are only earning $2 per lead, then you don't have as many traffic options because you cannot pay more than $2 per lead and still make money.
The person who can squeeze the most out of every lead is the one who will win because they can use more traffic sources and buy more traffic at a profit.
