In fact, as I am writing the course, I am putting together some ideas that I want to share with you about the subject of getting traffic to promote your website, business opportunity, or lead capture page.
Today, I wanted to share with you how to choose between the two main types of traffic you use to build your business. Are you going to earn your traffic or buy it?
When you use a site like a safelist or traffic exchange, you are mostly earning traffic by trading your time for visitors. You spend time clicking links and earning credits by looking at other offers. That time you spend allows you to use the system to send your ads and promote your business.
When you buy traffic or pay to run ads, then you are trading your money for traffic instead of your time. All traffic has a cost, in either money, time, or both.
What is the right combination for you?
For many who are just starting out, they may have more time to invest in their business than they have money. They are also testing out different offers and pages, trying to figure out what works. In this case, trading your time for traffic may be the best alternative.
However, you only have so many hours in the day and that will limit how much traffic you can earn. You will hit a point where you want more traffic than you can generate for free. This is where paid traffic can be very useful.
If you have a little money and are short on time, then paid traffic will let you get as many visitors as you are willing buy. You can have thousands of visitors as early as today. Paid traffic is truly limitless.
The question to ask yourself is whether you have the time to generate your traffic for free, or whether you need to invest in traffic instead. Having a high level of traffic is necessary, but you can find your own combination of free and paid traffic that meets your unique situation.
