In my Best Converting sites report this Sunday I shared with you some interesting facts I noticed last week. If you missed this email you still can read it by clicking here.
Last week, 53 out of 96 new subscribers came from the links in the email body... from just 238 visitors!
When I send emails to promote my lead capture offers from safelists, I will often include links in the email message in addition to the credit link at the bottom. Some safelists will let you do this and others will not.
I have found that these links in the email body (message) convert better than the credit link at the bottom.
What does it tell us?
SAFELIST MEMBERS READ YOUR EMAILS.
THEY PAY ATTENTION TO THE EMAIL CONTENT.
It is a big mistake to use generic messages to promote your pages thinking that no one reads the email. They assume that the reader is going straight the the credit link. Only the credit link matters. That is wrong.
Keep in mind that best prospects for your business don't read your ads just to earn some credits. They are interested in your actual message.
That is why the links in the message itself convert better than the credit links. If your reader clicks the link in the message, that is because they actually want what you are promoting. Those who are just earning credits go straight to the credit link but will probably not sign up for your offer.
If you want more results, then what you say in the email matters.
