I get a lot of emails from people asking me how I built my list so quickly. In fact, I have been asked that question so many times that I wrote a book about it.
I usually add somewhere between 75 and 150 new signups to my list every week from free advertising sources. I have been doing it for 3 years straight.
I don't tell you that to impress you with what a great list builder I am.
The reality is that a three years ago I had no list and no idea how to build one quickly.
These kind of results shock and amaze me too!
The reality is that most people (including me) make list building hard when it is actually simple.
A high converting lead capture page or opportunity and lots of quality traffic.
I built my core list for the first two years by promoting the launches of the Your Viral Network. I promoted dozens of launches in the last 3 years and each time, they added hundreds or more subscribers to my list. For more than a dozen launches, I managed to be the top referrer for every launch.
When a new launch happened, I would start right on launch day and send as much cold traffic as I could to my signup page for the new site. When programs are new, the conversion rates are fantastic because everyone wants to join a new site.
Every person who joins the launch from my link also gets added to my list in AWeber. That builds my list and earns me commissions, in addition to being a great source of traffic for future promotions.
This is a wonderful strategy for you to build your list as well, even if you are starting at zero subscribers.
You should always send your cold traffic from safelists or other traffic sources to programs which allow you to build your email list. This is how you build each new launch on top of each other using a process I call Launch Stacking. The subscribers you add to your list from the current launch are all people you can email to tell them about the next launch. As you add more and more
subscribers from each launch, you do better and better as an affiliate for the next launch.
