All traffic is not equal. Not even close.
This is one of the biggest lessons I have learned in the last 4 years online. Applying that lesson every week is how I am able to grow my list consistently by 100 or more new subscribers every week.
It isn't about where you can get the most traffic or the cheapest traffic. It is about where you can get the BEST traffic.
By "BEST", I mean traffic that converts into signups and sales.
The Pareto Principle, more commonly known as the 80/20 Rule, applies to your traffic and the websites you use to generate it. 80% of your signups will come from 20% of the sites you get traffic from.
I analyze my statistics every week and the rule always applies. I use over 100 traffic sites, but 80% of the signups come from the top 20 converting sites. If I have a busy week and can't devote as much time to getting traffic, I concentrate on those 20 sites and see very little difference in the number of signups I get.
You should definitely be analyzing all the traffic you generate so you know which sites are getting the best conversions. You should always be looking for new sites to try that are converting better than the ones you are currently using.
The best tool I have found for finding quality traffic sources is the new Network Best Converting Sites List which is part of the NEW 100 Percent Mailer member's area. It shows you the actual conversion rates and traffic levels from over 1.3 million visitors analyzed each 30 days. It changes every hour to reflect the most up to date information.
To see the report and which sites have the best conversions, you just need to join the NEW 100 Percent Mailer. You will get an awesome tool to send your emails and get more traffic, plus access to the best analysis of free traffic sources on the internet.
