There is a trap that many beginning affiliate and network marketers often fall victim to.
It is the Trap of Sameness.
Their product is the same as many others who are talking to the same prospects.
Their offer is the same as many others who are talking to the same prospects.
Their ad copy is the same as many others who are talking to the same prospects.
Nothing about their marketing makes them stand out from the crowd.
This is understandable. Most beginning affiliate marketers do not feel comfortable in writing their own sales copy or email subject lines. They haven't learned how to do it well, so they just copy and paste whatever the program gives them.
However, if you want to be successful, you have to "break the mold" and do things that will make your marketing more attractive than everyone else ... even if you are selling the same product.
You can start out by copying the standard email swipes, but you need to get out of the copy and paste phase as quickly as possible.
Learning to customize offers and write your own email copy are essential skills to making money online.
For example, I have been making an offer for the last month where I was giving away credits at some mailer programs, if the prospect would sign up under me. I added dozens of people to the programs and became a top referrer, all because I came out with an enhanced offer that was different from what everyone else was promoting.
