If you have been reading my emails for a while, then you know that I believe in the power of "know, like and trust" as a business strategy.
The fact that we all see over 4,000 different ads a day, and that we are very skeptical about if all the advertising claims are true, you need a way to stand out and get people to listen. If you build an audience of people who "know, like and trust" you, then that relationship will allow you to cut through all the noise of the marketplace.
Especially in the online marketing world, there is not a lot of trust. You never know if the offers you are being pitched are real and will help you accomplish your goals, or whether they will be gone in a couple of months. You really need good advice and guidance from someone who has your best interest in mind.
When you focus on building trust with your email subscriber list or social media followers, then you can help people to avoid making mistakes and help them be more successful. If you do that, they will trust you more and they will take your advice when you tell them about the products and tools they need.
Selling to strangers doesn't work anymore. We all want to buy from those who we trust, not from a slick video on a sales page from someone we never heard of before.
Marketing is changing, and we all need to change with it.
If you want help in determining how to build trust with your audience, or on how to build a list in the first place, then reply to this email and say "Let's Talk." I would love to give you a hand.
