Our business is all about attention. You need to get the attention of people who may become customers in the future.
When we send our emails out to safelists, we are trying to get attention from those who are receiving the emails.
When they open the emails, we need to have a really good first paragraph so that they will keep going and read the entire email.
When someone clicks a link in an email and goes to your signup or sales page, then you need to capture their attention and make them watch the video about the product or read the sales page.
We are in the attention business.
That is why it is so important to think about how you are communicating with your prospects at every stage. If you are using the same messages and copy that everyone else is using, then you will not get much attention.
You need to stand out ... be different ... be interesting.
That way, you cut through the noise that is all around the prospect and they pay attention.
