My email on Monday started sharing how I managed to get over 150 new signups for my email list last week. I want to share what I did so you can do the same. You can read the email by clicking here or see my Best Converting Traffic sources from last week by clicking here.
That email talked about the importance of having something new to promote that would stand out to the visitor or person clicking from an email.
Another factor in why I received so many signups was that I try to always focus on how to get the most traffic from the absolute best sources. I share my best sites in the Best Converting Traffic Sources list each week, but there is another layer below that.
At each of the sites that are converting well, I dig deep to get the most traffic possible. Part of that is making sure that I can email as many members as possible, as many times as possible. However, I also look for other places on the site where I can earn more traffic. I use commissions to upgrade my membership and buy login ads. I use banners and text links. If a site is converting well, then
get the most traffic possible.
The other advantage of taking this approach to maximize traffic is that many of the other ways to get traffic from these sites convert better than the emails. Login ads are a great example. They get more attention from the visitor, so they convert better. Some sites let you buy login ads with credits even.
Part of maximizing your traffic isn't just about where to get traffic from. It is also about not wasting time on places that have low converting traffic. Every minute you spend earning credits and sending emails is precious. You need to know what sites to say NO to.
