One of the biggest challenges that we face in trying to build and online business or income stream is knowing what things to focus on. There are endless opportunities, but very limited time to take advantage of them.
I speak a lot about the 80/20 rule, or Pareto's Principle, which says that 80% of our results will come from 20% of your actions. The key is knowing which 20% of your actions is going to generate the biggest results now.
The best way to focus your energy and efforts is to create a map of your business strategy and tactics, like a tree diagram. You start at the top with your goal, then the broad strategy to accomplish that goal, then eventually working down to the actual actions you can take today.
