Hi,
This is Eugene Uchuvatkin from HomeIncomeWorld. You connected with me because you opted for one of my reports.
October passed by and it's November!
Last month, I ran some tests by sending cold traffic on various lead capture pages. One of them became my control.
In copywriting, a control is an advertisement that consistently gets the best response. You can run it repeatedly without seeing a drop in conversion rates. No need to tweak it: the layout, image, headline, and hooks stay the same.
You know your numbers, like how many visitors it takes to get a conversion.
So the advertisement becomes your "litmus test", or a control.
When you have controls, you gain the ability to test any traffic source with mathematical precision easily.
You don't rely on feeling, imagination or overthinking. Your decision to use a traffic site isn't based on others opinion such as popularity, the number of members, or charts. You decide to use a
source or cut it off because you know in advance how it should perform.
We all started without controls and without knowing things. I owe my basic knowledge to world class marketers, copywriters, and books. But more importantly, I've learned things through practice.
I recommend taking more action in your business: create more lead capture pages, tweak them, and
send as much cold traffic as you can.
Yesterday, I published a video where you can learn how to track your numbers if you use lead capture pages in AWeber. (It's applicable to all major autoresponders).
