The first email had 29 clicks. The second email promoting the same program only 21 clicks, which is 27.58% fewer results.
Why
did the second email perform worse?
There are too many variables, and we can't determine the real reason.
It could be a weak headline, or it could be a less active segment (free accounts are allowed to send to a
maximum of 500 out of 1,295 mailable members), and so on.
However, the first thing I would assume is that the reason is timing. Look at the time the second email was sent.
5:14 AM.
Not many people check their email inboxes at this time.
In safelists, there are four best times to send your ads:
All times are in US EST.
Most of the audience (70-80%) are US citizens, and most sites US based.
Consider this next time you are going to mail.
Look at the screenshot again. The first
email was sent at 6:44 PM, when most users were active. Obviously, it had a higher chance of being opened and read.
Not only does the daily timing matter when sending your emails, but the "Launch" period is also important. This is when users are most active and pay attention to ads.
150 Mailer is still in its launching period, and I recommend joining.
Their admin issued a promo code SCROOGE for my list. It's worth 5,000 credits (10 mailings) and 1 unlimited banner.
