In the last seven days, 97 new people joined my list in AWeber.
Each week I share sources that got me the best results.
By results I don't mean the number emails sent or the quantity or traffic.
It's good to know those numbers though. But only to separate good and bad traffic sources. Conversion rate is one of the most important metrics that helps you to do that.
For instance, you need to know which site converts
better "A" or "B"... and where you should upgrade or buy some traffic.
To determine this, you take the number of visitors and divide it by the number of subscribers (or sales).
Let's say 1,000 visitors converted into 20 subscribers. That's 1,000:20 or 50:1.
So you can expect one conversion (signup or sale) for every 50 visitors from site "A" .
Now, assume 1,000 visitors from site "B" converted into 10 subscribers. So your conversion rates will be 100:1, and you can expect one conversion for every 100 visitors.
Site "A" beats site "B", and if you were thinking where you should invest your time
and money then it should be site "A".
This is how you determine the best converting sites.
Of course, you need initial
numbers like the amount of visitors. You only can get them if you track your traffic.
