Today, I received an email from John Carlton, Gary Halbert's partner and the one of the best copywriters. He is also known as "the most ripped-off copywriter on the Web", because many people pass off his work as their own.
In the email, John talks about the regrets we
have in our lives.
Most of us have them, whether it's a regret about a missed opportunity, performed actions or dumb behavior.
Sometimes these thoughts turn us into "guilt-drenched zombies".
Sometimes these memories hit us like a hammer blow to the head.
All of this is because of something that happened years ago...
That's not okay, and you should take action to remove those feelings.
Because guilt does nothing to fix the situation. It doesn't help you, and it also doesn't help the ones you may have hurt.
The cure is forgiveness. It is a good start.
Not only should you forgive those around you, but first of all, you should forgive yourself.
That means you realize that you have done, and realize that you are a human being with strengths and weaknesses.
Then you clean up your mess as best as you can.
Then you make everything to
ensure you don't make similar mistakes in the future. This is the most important step in your treatment.
Here's one interestig thing from this plan.
You don't make any
promises.
Why?
Because they are worthless and easily violated.
Instead of making promises you are making sacrifies, seeking for mentoring (it can be a live person, a great article, an email or a book), and forcing yourself to do better next time.
Switching from useless guilt to real actions will transform your life for the better.
But don't expect immediate results. It's a process.
Once again, we are all human beings with weaknesses. Sometimes we stick to our regrets so badly.
Just take the steps above and give yourself some time to change. You won't recognise yourslef in 6 months.
That's all for today. Stay blessed, and
let me know if you want help to build your list and traffic. I'm here for you.
Thanks.
