It's been 48 days since my last email to you. When I sent my 900th email it was totally different world than the one we have now.
It slightly reminded me 2020 when we were able to understand that "There are decades when weeks happen, and weeks when decades happen". It was regarding COVID.
We don't meditate around this quote today. We live through it. Especially here in the post USSR land.
Terrible times, and don't tell me the otherwise.
But please don't think this message is a rant.

We always should find positive things in every situation. And we have plenty of good moments today!
First of all, "This too shall pass away". Our world just needs some time. However, no one knows how much. Just remember that patience is a virtue.
Secondly and mainly, humanity still exists, even though many people behave like beasts. Let me tell you a story that fits to what is happening now.
There was a famous philosopher in ancient Greece. He lived between 400 and 300 BC, and his name was Diogenes the Cynic. He was a very strange person.
His father was a banker. At some point Diogenes was involved in a scandal of the adulteration of the currency. He was banished from his city Sinope, and moved to Athenes.
He arrived in Athenes with slave Manes that escaped from him shortly. Diogenes said "If Manes can live without Diogenes, why not Diogenes without Manes?"
Overtime Diogenes started following super simple lifestyle. Better say, he lived in total povetry. He begged for a living. He slept in a clay wine jar, and declared himself as a citizen of the world (the first one who did it, by the way).
He became notorious for his philosophy and behavior that looked crazy at the first glance.
For instance, he used to bring food and eat during philosophical discussions champing and slurping. This way he sabotaged lectures of some teachers he was criticizing.
Often people could see him at the marketplace carrying a lamp during the day. "What are you doing, Diogenes? Is sun light not enough for you?", they were asking. "I'm looking for a man", he was answering. "Hehe, Diogenes. Look around! A lot of people here.", they laughed. "No. You don't understand. I'm looking for a
man".
This way he demonstrated how it's hard to find a true humanity among the people.
Why I told you this story? Because that lamp in Diogenes hands is nothing else than the terrible situation which happens in the world right now... and the positive moment is that the light from the "lamp" helps us see the true kindness among the people.
So many people give refugees asylum. For nothing. Because of feeling empathy. So many people help them even though they put their own lives in a danger! That's awesome. That's how the Diogenes's man behaves. And it's a pure glory of humanity!
We never could notice it in our regular life. Not even close.
If such a kindness is still exist then no doubt everything will end in a positive manner. And very very soon.
