Gmail is grouping emails in one thread based on the subject title unless you chose to show emails separately. Almost nobody chooses this. Almost everybody reads only the upper message in the thread. The rest is being ignored and deleted.
This single mistake can ruin your campaign. Your messages receive fewer opens and clicks. You aren't getting the results you expected. The worst thing is that Gmail can merge your email with your competitor's ones. This is important, especially if you participate in launches or contests.
To prevent grouped emails you have to create a new subject line for each message that you send during the same day.
Ideally, you should have 5 to 7 different subject lines so you can change them frequently. You also should avoid using generic subject lines because everyone else use them.
Creating and using 5 different subject lines seems like a lot of work. Yes, it is. However, there is a hint that will help you. Subject lines "Do you make this mistake in mailings?" and "Do You Make This Mistake In Mailings?" are different.
"Do you make this mistake in mailings??" is the third version. To make a difference you need to replace just one character in your text.
Try this next time you send your emails. You won't regret it.
