The most important lesson I have learned in my growth from struggling online into having a business that adds 100 new subscribers each week is that you have to be focused on results.
Unfortunately, many people are focused on activity, not results.
It doesn't matter how many hours you work, or how many emails you send, if it is not generating the results you want.
Many people put in more hours than I do in their businesses each week, but are not getting consistent subscribers to their lists or earning consistent commissions. I work hard in my business, but only on the things that are working.
This is why it is so important to know your numbers. You need to know how much traffic you are sending to the pages you are promoting, and you need to know how many signups you are getting. From those numbers you can calculate your conversion rate. If you sent 1,000 visitors to your page and received 4 signups, then your conversion rate is 1000 divided by 4 or 250 visitors per
signup.
You want to be getting conversion rates that are better than 300 visitors per signup if you are using traffic from safelists as your primary source. The current page I use is converting at 154 visitors per signup.
