Best converting sites

In October, I've been working on improving my systems. Tweaking lead capture pages, campaigns and overcoming traffic tracking limits.

On the AWeber lead capture pages, you can only use Google Analytics or Facebook tracking pixels. These are required for measuring your numbers like visitors, conversions, and conversion rates.

The problem with these type of pixels is that they can't track events in the iframe. And when you promote on safelists, your pages are shown exactly there: below timer, captcha or banners.

Of course, you can overcome the limits in several ways. For example, by using a lead capture page that allow you to add an alternative tracking pixel. LeadsLeap allows that, and I highly recommend using it if you are a beginner.

But LeadsLeap wasn't an option for me, so I had to invent something else.

In AWeber, you can tag every subscriber who joins your list. So you can create a dedicated landing page for each traffic source and tag people coming from that particular source.

Let's say, you create a page specifically for YouTube with the tag "youtube". You place the link under your video, and if anyone subscribes to your email list, you'll know they come from YouTube. Same thing with your blog or Facebook.

Among other tracking methods this is the most accurate and easy to implement.

Generally, you could create one page for mailers or particular network of sites, and another page for traffic exchanges. Other pages can be dedicated for banners, text or login ads, etc.

But if you want to identify the best converting sites, you need to create a page for each traffic source you work with and assign a unique tag.

I did exactly this last week and received eye-opening data that will help me and you decide where to spend more time and what needs to be cut off mercilessly.

Last week I sent 21,790 cold visitors to the duplicates of the following pages:

Hour-by-Hour 12,073 visitors, 50 subscribers (241:1)
Mafia Offer - 2,303 visitors, 18 subscribers (128:1)
Send-Out-Ads launch main page - 7,236 visitors, 43 subscribers (168:1)
Send Out Ads test page - 178 visitors, 7 subscribers (25:1)

In total, visitors converted into 118 subscribers. The average conversion rates are 185:1 or 185 visitors to get one subscriber.

Here's a list of best converting sites last week:

Send Out Ads - 312 visitors, 10 subscribers (31:1)

Mister Safelist - 148 visitors, 4 subscribers (37:1)

List Mailer Plus - 164 visitors, 2 subscribers (82:1)

150 Mailer - 266 visitors, 3 subscribers (89:1)

Mailsy - 182 visitors, 2 subscribers (91:1)

Viral Mailer For You - 1,064 visitors, 9 subscribers (118:1)

State-of-the-Art-Mailer - 269 visitors, 2 subscribers (135:1)

100 Percent Clicks - 279 visitors, 2 subscribers (140:1)

Free Advertising For You - 1,146 visitors, 5 subscribers (229:1)

Herculist Plus - 1,127 visitors, 4 subscribers (282:1)

These sites are currently the best, so for the upcoming week, when you send your ads, start with them.
